Kenya recently passed the Climate Change Amendment Act 2023, a forward-thinking legislative framework aimed at promoting sustainable development and safeguarding the environment.
Since its passage in September 2023, Cindy Oraro and Madikizela Otieno advocates from Oraro and Company, have been exploring how the Act can be utilized by communities and businesses to capitalize on benefit-sharing mechanisms.
